Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator who can maintain, secure, and advance our company’s IT systems while managing the implementation of new technologies across our divisions.

Position Summary
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, supporting, and improving the company’s IT infrastructure. This role involves working directly with leadership and department heads to ensure system reliability, security, and performance. The right candidate will also have project management experience, particularly in coordinating and implementing new software systems companywide.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure.
Manage and maintain Windows servers, network systems, and data backups.
Oversee user account management, access control, and security configurations.
Coordinate and lead companywide software implementations, ensuring successful rollout and adoption.
Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Develop and maintain IT documentation, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Manage vendor relationships and assist with hardware and software procurement.
Provide user support, technical training, and assistance to staff across multiple divisions.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration, including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
Solid understanding of Windows Server, networking, firewalls, VPNs, and data security.
Experience managing enterprise software rollouts or migrations across multiple departments.
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and divisions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management experience (formal training or certification such as PMP or CAPM a plus).
Experience in a multi-division or manufacturing/distribution environment.
Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or other business system integrations.
