What it is

The SanRex SQD400A60S is a 600 V, 400 A high-current Darlington power transistor module manufactured by Sansha Electric (SanRex) for industrial power-switching applications. The module incorporates a single high-power Darlington/GTR switching element together with an integrated reverse-parallel diode, as shown by the circuit diagram printed directly on the module.

Designed for high-current power conversion, the SQD400A60S uses separate high-current collector and emitter power terminals together with low-current control connections for the transistor drive circuit. Its electrically isolated mounting base allows the module to be installed directly onto an appropriate heatsink while maintaining electrical isolation between the semiconductor circuit and chassis.
