The Yuasa SWU500-12FR is a 12-volt, valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology
and Yuasa’s high-temperature HT X Alloy™ for extended life in demanding environments. Rated at
135 Ah (20-hr rate) and up to 500 W/cell at 15 minutes (1.67Vpc, 25°C), it delivers robust short-duration
ride-through and reliable long-term standby power for UPS systems, datacenters, switchgear, control, and other critical
infrastructure.

With a 10-year design life, flame-arresting one-way vent, and a flame-retardant UL94V-0 ABS case, the SWU500-12FR
is built for safety and durability in high-density installations. Epoxy-sealed terminals prevent post leaks and the
maintenance-free, non-spillable AGM design meets or exceeds DOT and IATA requirements for non-hazardous transportation.
Top-mounted M6 terminals simplify cabinet and rack installation, while certifications to ISO 9001, ISO 14001,
and IEC 60896-21 plus UL recognition ensure compliance with global quality and safety standards.
