The APC SYRIM is the legacy Redundant Intelligence Module (RIM) for early Symmetra Power Array 1:1 UPS systems. Installed alongside the SYMIM Main Intelligence Module, it provided redundancy by taking control if the primary module failed.
The SYRIM was designed exclusively for 1:1 Symmetra Power Array configurations and is not compatible with 3:1 systems. It was later replaced by the SYRIM2, which supports both 1:1 and 3:1 UPS frames.
Like other Symmetra intelligence modules, the SYRIM is hot-swappable, allowing replacement without powering down the UPS. Refurbished units include a 1-year replacement warranty.
