The Ferraz Shawmut AJT500EI is a 500-amp Amp-Trap 2000® Class J time-delay fuse with an EI open-fuse indicator and microswitch mount. Its current-limiting design helps reduce fault-current let-through while its time-delay characteristics accommodate typical motor-starting and transformer-inrush currents.
This listing is for a reclaimed, continuity-tested fuse removed from decommissioned operational equipment and visually inspected before sale. For UPS and other power-system repairs, use only where the equipment manufacturer specifies the AJT500EI or an explicitly approved equivalent.
Time-Delay Operation: Accommodates normal motor and transformer inrush while providing overcurrent protection.
Current-Limiting Design: Limits peak current let-through during high-current faults.
EI Open-Fuse Indicator: Includes an indicator/microswitch mount compatible with Mersen AOS-S or AOS-Q add-on switches for remote signaling. Switches are separate accessories.
