The APC SYRIM3 is the Redundant Intelligence Module (RIM) for Symmetra RM UPS systems. It ensures fault tolerance by automatically assuming control if the Main Intelligence Module fails, maintaining seamless UPS operation.
Installed alongside the SYMIM3 Main Intelligence Module, the SYRIM3 provides N+1 redundancy and high availability. With both modules installed, the UPS sustains uninterrupted monitoring, system control, and diagnostics with automatic failover.
This module is hot-swappable, allowing replacement without shutting down the system. Refurbished units include a 1-year replacement warranty.
