The XBDM Maintenance Bypass Module helps ensure continuous uptime for your critical electronics by allowing you to safely service or replace a UPS without interrupting power to the load. With a simple manual bypass switch, you can transfer the protected load from UPS power to utility (bypass) power, perform maintenance and then return the load back to protected UPS operation just as easily.

Designed for reliability and clean integration, the XBDM uses hardwired utility input and system output for secure installations in IT closets, racks, labs, AV systems, and industrial control environments. The bypass switch provides a fast transfer—typically within 8 ms—helping keep connected equipment running while you restore the UPS to full protection.
